Sundays at 11:45 a.m. January 17-31, 2021 Led by Mitchell Jackson
Join us as we look at the early days of the Social Gospel movement. We'll encounter its early proponents, men and women who looked upon the plight of the poor in 19th century America and Great Britain with deep frustration and sadness. We'll also hear from its early (and on-going) opponents, who believed the movement's fervor for social reform caused its adherents to lose sight of the gospel. All are welcome to join. No prior knowledge is necessary, and there will be no need to buy books or materials. Come as you are!
